SCREENSHOTS: 'Trolls World Tour' Is a Fun Movie With a Great Message
What a great escape it turned out to be
I am so glad I dropped everything and took some time out to watch “Trolls World Tour”. So glad. Because what a great escape it turned out to be. This movie gave me a chance to just kick back, watch a fun movie and not think about anything else. And with so much going on in the world right now, that’s something I’m sure we could all use a little of right now.
“Trolls World Tour” will grab you right from the start. When the movie opens with the Cyndi Lauper hit “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” substituting “trolls” for “girls” … you know you’re in for a treat. There’s also Chic’s feel-good song “Good Times,” as well as so many more. And since you’ll probably be watching this movie from the comfort of your own home, who’s to say you can’t get up outta yo seat and dance to the beat?! That’s a song isn’t it? Undoubtedly.
In “Trolls World Tour,” Queen Barb, a member of hard rock royalty, wants to destroy all other kinds of music. She thinks rock is the ONLY music the world needs. Poppy, Branch and their friends can’t let that happen, so they set out on a quest to unite all the Trolls in harmony against Barb.
While it takes some time, as Queen Poppy points out, “our differences make the world a better place because you can’t harmonize alone.” What a great message. What a great movie. It’s available for streaming now.
